An elementary problem is the lack of possibilities for deceleration and relaxation in the district.
Furthermore the division caused by the mutiple lane freeways, makes it impossible to chance the roadsite easily and besides it seperats the existing green/relaxing areas.
There is no chance to walk through the area in the green and loose the stress of the fast moving city around.
The solution is to create a kind of spiderweb that reconnects the areas with green zones. It should also contain a kind of building that takes care of cultural events like for example exhibitions, food markets, summer cinema etc. so the area could become a new center of life in chamartín and madrid.
